Analysis

Can I work with my data on a local compute cluster?

Yes! The best way to work with data on your local compute cluster is to download to your institution's scratch storage, run analysis on the cluster, and then upload your results to Cirro. Both your raw data and analyzed data will then appear in your project as discrete datasets.

Can I merge files from multiple datasets?

Yes! For pipelines that are set up to accept multiple input datasets, you can select any number of inputs for analysis. See the pipelines page for more information.

Budget

What happens if a project reaches its budget limit?

If a project reaches its budget limit, you may rest assured that no data is lost. However all analysis is paused until the budget is increased or the budget period refreshes.

In order to avoid pauses in analysis, Admins will receive email notifications alerting them when they are nearing their budget limit.

To update your project's budget, navigate to your project's Costs page and click the "Edit Budget" button at top right.
